Optical modules are widely used in telecommunications, data centers, storage networks, 5G networks, and industrial applications to enable high-speed, reliable, and long-distance data transmission.

Telecommunications and Optical Communication

Optical modules are essential in fiber optic communication, converting electrical signals into optical signals for high-speed, long-distance, and high-capacity data transmission. They are used in Ethernet networks, Fibre Channel storage networks, and IP network interconnects using WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing) technology, supporting both metro and backbone networks . In telecom networks, optical modules facilitate FTTx (Fiber to the X) connections, linking operators to end users via PON, EPON, or GPON technologies .

Data Centers
