In Fiber Optic Connectors

They ensure that the fiber cores are perfectly aligned when two connectors are mated, allowing light to pass through with minimal signal loss . Made from high-purity zirconia ceramic, ferrules provide dimensional stability, hardness, and thermal compatibility with glass fibers, preventing deformation, cracking, or misalignment during temperature fluctuations .
