For flat drop cables, use all-metallic aerial clamps with a dimpled shim and a minimum tensile strength of 550 lbs. Maximum installation load is typically 300 lbf. Coupling coils may be required to allow slack and prevent tension on the fiber . Always maintain the minimum bend radius when stripping jackets or handling the cable to avoid fiber damage.

Outdoor Wall and Pole Installations
